I can't see how it's the referee's fault if he had an alternative kit with him, the blame lies with Harlequins for not travelling with their correct strip, no arguement. They ought to be more professionally run.
Im not blaming the ref MM & I agree Quinns should have had the nounce to wear their "1st" strip, but surely the match commisioner or whoever from the RFL who knew about this 2 days prior should have intervened.

I wouldn't have thought that the MC would have had prior knowledge until arriving at the stadium. This is the sole reason why the officials carry a change strip.
