Is it me or does he seem to always be punished for one mistake and dropped. Batley then after the leigh game.

Players like tangata giving the ball away when on takle 2 and 3 for incorrect play the ball week in week out and fans can see it and getting annoyed with it yet walmsley makes one mistake and is dropped.

Think the lads been hard done by and cant see him sticking round

Was he dropped this time though? He may have been injured, i can't see any other reason why he would be left out. The lad is a match winner and although at fault for one of Leigh's trys he would be in my team every time. Let's see the line up against Whitehaven. Up The Fax!

Going by grixs pre match interview he mad a mistake which cost him his place

If that's the case we'd have no players available to be picked! We might only have him for one season, get him in the team and let's enjoy watching him.

Yes simon did say that he was being left out for a few incidents in the leigh game. And ben had played well for huddersfields reserves so in his eyes deserved his chance and to be fair he played well on sunday and would be unlucky to be left out against whitehaven. But as far as Lachlan goes it seems unfair that he gets judged by a higher standard then other players and i too would have him in the side.

Another thing is that we have several wingers on the books so Grix can drop them when he wants we are very short of forwards. Drop Tangata and who do you put in the second row ?

Walmsley could well end up be a player we never utilise.l so they leave and then play for someone else and when plays against us have a stormer of a game. We need to play him to keep him engage with the team and enjoying his rugby at Fax

Multilayered opinion here

Tangata has probably being guilty of the most individual errors of all our squad but has yet to be dropped, you could argue with injuries to gee n Knowles we don’t have the strength n depth to replace him .

Walmsey has played pretty well in recent games but in the Leigh game he was directly responsible perhaps inadvertently for two of the tries conceded, kick out on the full after conceding the first try led to Leigh having another set and a try immediately after and conceding again , an incorrect play the ball giving back possession to Leigh in our own 30 and conceding again .

Walmsey is not yet super league level and Leigh and Featherstone are covered in them positions, where would walmsey go here’s on a good salary , we were playing Workington and tibbs needs some game time.

Walmsey responded well and showed a good attitude last time he was dropped.

Grix stated that all players must play well to not be dropped because we have players of equal ability to replace thus keeping high standards .

Up to now tangata seems to be the only one not dropped in the last two seasons for under par performances and maybe worthington,

Grix is more qualified than the fans to make squad rotation calls .

All players - but particularly young relatively inexperienced ones , need confidence to play well. That comes both from playing well and getting the crowd on side, and also from your coach showing confidence in you. He was poor against Batley and probably deserved to be dropped, personally felt he was good enough against a very strong Leigh team to keep his place. Grix has different challenge this season keeping a number of good players who won't be able to play every week, happy - so far based on the response of the players when he brings them back - he's doing a pretty good job.

People keep saying Lachlan was poor against Batley. I was at the game and I thought he played o.k. He's not the finished article obviously but he'd certainly start for me, he's only going to get better. Up The Fax!
