Just like to say I thought today was a great example of why Rugby League is a great game.
End to end rugby, nailbiting and both sides put in 100%.

Its a shame that this was not the final.

Hard luck to all the fax, you have a very good team, althought they were down at half time had the belief they could win and played good rugby..

Yup, cause if It was you'd have won the cup, you'll have to overcome Barrow yet

you are absolutely right, it was scintilating rugby and a great example of life outside stupidleague. It was a fantastic game, just the result was wrong, for us.. Good luck in the final

Shame about the result, but it really was a thoroughly exhilirating game. Will certainly be back at the Shay if we've got yet more blank weekends coming up, though I'm planning on plenty of booze on July 3rd to numb the pain of the 'backlash'

It was a very good game, in that it was full of absolute drama. Unbelievable, couldn't make it up, sort of drama.
I feel dejected, gutted and annoyed, but these are feelings that I would take any day over apathy and abjection after beating teams 72-0.

Because these players are not "perfect" as in super league, it makes for great drama. I would take today over the dross of superleague anyday.

AM I RIGHT? I'M NOT WRONG!

Very entertaining, but very disappointing! Fingers will no doubt be pointed at Black's unfortunate drop, but let's be honest .... at 6-20 Shad scored when he was about 3 yards offside from a kick, and Ben scored from a blatent crossing. We lost that match in the first 60 ... kicking out on the full ... dropping the ball first and second tackle ... it had nothing to do with Black, he was great (most of the match!). Joking and teasing apart, well done Widnes, overall ... over the 80 minutes ... you were the better team and deserved to win (even tho Cullen's still a shiite coach :P ), but ... as the great Arnold scharvniggger once said ... WE'LL BE BACK!!

I like to think as Super League being the 'robotic' players, whereas players in our league are the ones broke free from the machine and retain independant thought. Like summat out of 1984.
