NRC Final Tickets : Wed Jun 17, 2009 8:46 pm
Not trying to jump the gun here, could useful to both sides.

When will tickets be able to buy for the winning team?
Will it be the following day?
Will season ticket holders get advantage?

Season ticket holders have first dabs on an approximate initial allocation of 2,000. I imagine those will be sold. We/Widnes will then get a second allocation of unsold tickets. I'd be surprised if it was a sell out. Capacity is 9,650.

A Fax Widnes final wouldn't of been far off a sell out, I am sure we took 5 - 6000 last time

Northern Rail “9”s and Cup final July 11th & 12th

Although we have yet to beat Widnes if we are to go to the Final at Blackpool , The RFL have already told us that the Ticket allocation for the two teams may well be restricted. . a figure of 2,000 tickets has been suggested as our allocation were we to be in the Final. . Given that we have well over half of that number as season ticket holders (and of course season ticket holders will qualify for preferential ticket allocation) that could well cause a shortage of tickets for everyone who might want to go to the final.

We currently have 150 tickets allocated to the Club for the Northern rail “9”s weekend. These tickets are priced at £9 if purchased before the weekend, but can be upgraded FREE for the final should Halifax get there (the cheapest Cup Final ticket is £12). Should you wish to go to both the “9”s and the Cup final these tickets can be upgraded for both by a further payment of £5 (you’d see both the “9” s and the Cup Final for £2 extra than just the Cup Final).

By buying one of these 150 tickets now you guarantee yourself a potential cup final ticket or at the worst a weekend at the “9”s. . it seems to make sense if you don’t have a season ticket to go for one of these?

Yeah, but it's not going to be a Fax - Widnes final. Hence, it won't sell out.

At no point did I say it would sell out this time round?

It will be all ticket i would expect because all the teams are playing in the 9's competition.

2700 tickets will be allocated to the 18 teams not in the actual final as each get 150 to sell to fans who want to see the 9s. Plus they can be upgraded to all weekend tickets which means they will be allocated against the gate.

2000 for each team means you already up to 6700 tickets. The capacity of Bloomfield Road is 9,650. I would think that sponsors and other people who don't care will get their cut. Plus you can buy tickets from the RFL so that will probably be the rest of the allocated tickets.

At a guess!
