I don't know about the rest of you but i pay into the squad builder to see the best side possible halifax can put together. Stuff the rfl regarding integrity other sides are signing players and we need some fresh blood as much as anyone. And didn't the supporters trust put 5 grand in the pot at the start of the season. We might not be the favorites going into the playoffs but its one off rugby and a too good a chance just to waste. opportunities like this don't come around every season so we need to throw the kitchen sink at this.

I agree we need to put everything into the playoffs. If not, why bother and that would be worse. I too pay into the Squad builder and the Fax trust. It isn’t much but I feel I’m doing my bit for the club and as such I want them to put all their efforts into every match whether it’s league, cup or in the playoffs.

Surely investing now where we are in a good position makes more sense in terms of revenue achieved for finishing 3rd and sky tv money for progressing as far as we can in the playoffs to build for next season, I dug up an old interview with Michael Steele who discusses the financial benefits of league position ( all be it 2016 the principal is still the same ) https://youtu.be/lneLEr7ycW0 22: 55 mins in .
