To the Supporters and the Team (messages of support) : Sun Aug 16, 2009 10:14 am
I havent posted on here for a few day. I like many are frustrated with the recent performances. However i do think if we are to achieve anything this season, both the team and supporters need to start to pull together. I know people have put positive posts in other thread, but they tend to get lost in the topic itself. If players or officials do come on this board let them know were still with them.
To the supporters.
Lots have been wrote on here with regard to what is going wrong with at the club, and who fault it is. We were all quick to write messages of congratulations to the players when were were doing well, but now we have turned on them same players.
We can play our part in the success of the club and at present i feel that the part we are playing is a detrimental one, i can understand why, i like everyone else feels frustrated because everything was feeling great and we all maybe held a dream that the success that we have been long starved of would be delivered this year.
But supporting your team is supporting them through good times and bad, and your team needs our support now more than any other time this season. I am not saying that the people who are critical of the team are wrong in what they are doing, or say that they arent supporters, we all have blue and white blood running through our viens. I am just saying we can that dream is still within our reach.
To the Team,
You are best best group of players that we have had at the club in recent memory, you have given us some fantatic memories so far this season, and we are hoping for some more before the season is finished. All we ask from you is hardwork, commitment and pride in your shirt, that we as supporters do each and everytime we pull the shirt on.
We are all wanting the same thing for the club so let us all pull together and we can achieve anything we want. You hold up the end of your bargin and we will give you our undying support.
Our success is based on teamwork and solidarity between team and supporters, that has always been the case with Halifax RLFC, the south stand (scratching shed) is the clubs 18th man, this was the case at Thrum Hall and this can now happen at the shay.
We are all playing for the same team and want the same thing.
Teamwork - coming together is the beginning.
keeping together is progress.
WORKING TOGETHER LEADS TO SUCCESS!!!!
