He was playing cricket at Northowram Fields. Upto U18's cricket he was ahead of Michael Clarke in the Aussie cricket standings and could have gone on to big things but chose rugby.
The lad he shared a house with knew he was leaving, but only by about half an hour, over the phone!!

left car at airport n cricket gear at house. house sold to local rl player.
