Salford have called off their festive friendly against Leigh creating further uncertainty over the club's future.

Instead, Salford have rearranged for Sun 13th January.

For Salford fans this is not good news obviously.


My hopefull view is Peel Holdings will save them.

Sale Sharks' who seemed destined for relegation and a premiership footie reserve side playing at Barton will not make the running of that stadium viable.

Fingers crossed.
