You are trolling someone you know to be having mental issues. Just how does that feel? Do you think it makes you a better or worse person? What would your parents/partner/children/friends think of what you're doing?

I know she recently came out with her own abuse tale and she's been to the police about it because her mother says she's lying. But the weird thing about her complaint is that the dates that she alleges the abuse are when she was aged 6-11 and the boy was 11-16. While it was certainly *something* if it did happen, it's not a clear case of child abuse and I don't even know how the legal system could even handle it. Smith was never employed as a teacher. He gained access to kids by being a councillor and later the Mayor of Rochdale, subsequently becoming a school governor and a patron of local organisations for young people. He took his role as a governor so seriously that he dished out corporal punishment in children's homes round Rochdale and got no enjoyment from it whatsoever. I am at a total loss as to how Alison Saunders came to the view that to further investigate the accusations against Greville Janner would not be "in the public interest". What about the interest of his alleged vicitms?

Supposedly too ill to face further police questioning, he was well enough to attend the HoL before these latest allegations surfaced

While I am prepared to accept that in the end he will be too ill to stand trial (dementia is a cruel illness) isn't usually the job of a judge to decide if someone is fit to stand trial?
