A migrant is a person who has left their home country by choice, in order to seek a better life.Conflict or persecution not being the reason to do so .A migrant is not an asylum seeker or refugee.

Would hazard a guess and say the majority of channel crossing folk are simply migrants.

The government have shown the migrant children by painting over the far too welcoming Disney murals that they are not welcome even if they had little choice.
