he admits to falling over on purpose due to a poor start, that would have cost GB a place in the next round, in what was a pre-planned tactic should they have a slow start. maybe not directly cheating, as not technically against the rules, but certainly not in the Olympic spirit.

there is no such thing as the "Olympic Spirit" find it in the UIC handbook and I'll admit it's existance, each team is allowed a restart in the event of a "malfunction" him getting a wobble because of handle bearings is a "malfunction".

they still won the event with a WORLD RECORD having competed in every round, hardly cheating.

Seems to me he just got of to a crappy wobbly start and once he realised what was happening he just went with it, knowing they'd get the restart. It's within the rules. Absolutely loving the games at the mo, and with the boss on holiday next week I can see a few more days "working from home".
