Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

With the pitiful growth figures for the first quarter that have been published today, perhaps May is trying to get 5 more years before the economy goes into reverse.

Some people rate her but she is a glorified wind bag, full of rhetoric but without any actions to back up her claims of a "fair" society.

One thing is for sure get Corbyn in and you will see the reverse gear getting some stick!!

"Strong and stable, stable and strong, coalition of chaos, strong and stable, coalition of chaos etc etc ad infinitum..."

She's not talking about policies - she's not meeting the public - and she won't engage in TV debates; it's a trademark Lynton Crosby campaign, right down to the character assassination of Corbyn, which seems to rely on an assumption that the public is too stupid/apathetic to base their decision on actual facts. Expect the policy vacuum to continue over the coming weeks, but the personal attacks on Corbyn to ramp up - with Boris Johnson seemingly earmarked as the bully of choice, with the dutiful BBC and Sky News faithfully repeating every slur over and over again as many times as possible.

It's working against her though I only saw a few minutes of QT last night but the audience were highly critical of her campaign. Closer to home a former Tory leafleter and then UKIP member is considering voting for Labour on the basis of the zero-policy / anti-Corbyn nonsense. I can see that pattern being repeated. There could well be protest votes galore going to Labour as peoplew think, on the basis of media reporting, that Corbyn is a joke candidate with no chance. They may therefore see Labour as a safe protest vote and he may just surprise people!

Theresa May seems to be running with the failed Hilary Clinton method. She's not trying to tell us how good she is but really trying her best to tell us how bad the other guy is.

Big slow down in the economy in the last quater. I wouldn't be surprised to see us in recession in 12 months. Same with America

shock:I dont know about the US but if you vote for Trump, nothing should be a surprise.
The UK were the proverbial Turkeys that voted for Christmas.

Having just about climbed out of the deepest recession in over 80 years, we then willingly vote out of the EU and give ourselves another economic shock.

Whether the referendum was right (and I dont think it was), the timing of it was economic suicide.
Talk about, be careful what you wish for

It is quite clear that the conservatives are the party of hate. Theresa May wants to unite Britain in one sentence but then divides us in the next by dismissing opposition parties. If world war three kicked off tomorrow, do you think labour and conservatives would form a coalition like they did in the previous world war? Not under May.

As N Korea have just launched another missile test despite being told not to by China and the USA your hypothesis could be tested.

Yes if the UK was the only country you could work - these top people can work anywhere in the world. To think if you put a cap here they would all just stay is naive in the extreme.

The pay needs to be capped, workers wages have stagnated while executives incomes are soaring. I know we live in thrall of these big companies, but all it takes is a few more nations to demand that workers get a bigger share and it can be done.

The free market only exists because its allowed to.

Leftist garbage, sitting in your chair, bleeding the state in your later years. I cant wait for the election and Labour to be whiped out, hopefully forever.
