The parallels are clear: the fear mongering, the othering of minorities, the ginning up of hate for immigrants, the disregard or abolition of ethical guard rails designed to control the executive, the undermining of the mechanics of democracy to try and help him stay in power. The tax cuts, lucrative contracts and favours for plutocrats and the leader's billionaire friends. The deliberate law breaking.

This isn't normal. This isn't what past Prime Ministers and Presidents have done. Lazily pretending all sides are the same when clearly they are not, failing to act to vote against them makes you almost as complicit as someone who voted for them.
