Japanese fashion houses have been doing it for years, but not at any sane persons price point. I'm a bit of a sucker for the flashy jackets anyways, my Mrs got a shock when she walked in on me testing my big yellow north face 30th anniversary mountain parka in the shower.

The Japanese stuff is really nice; White Mountaineering, VisVim, Nanamica. It's just a little on the pricey side for hillwalking and scrambling.

I've got one Dally. It can be too warm at times. Definitely one for proper winters unlike this one.

Took the plunge this afternoon and got the Quorum.
