No result, I heard him telling the guy who was collating the results as he walked off.

As i remember there was only one presentation for the groups and that was for the guys who beat us in the pool final.

I may have stayed until the end if someone wasn't looking after my kids, it's a bit unfair them having them for 10 hours lol. There was the other point that it wasn't exactly TML rules being played on the pitch whether both teams agreed or not, although the York guy steam rolling the hull player trying to tackle him was a highlight of what i saw. I'm not saying it wasn't their right to play like that just seemed strange that the TML grand final didn't play TML rules, anyway gz to Hull if indeed they won.

While 'in theory' you finished 2nd cos you lost the proper final, you were only contesting for that cup, 2nd vs 2nd (Fax vs I can't remember now  ) played for a plate, which Fax won 9-1.

We were told the Rochdale game stood but one of our players was banned for a game. We finished 2nd because we had one try less than Leeds in the group stages. Both of us had 2 win and a draw.

I wasn't there for the presentation so have no idea if we actually got a plate physically haha.

Cheers for the game and well played Leeds all round :)

Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

Adam said you were struggling around the office in open toed sandals because of the gout.

You know it's the complaint of a rich man don't you? Too much champagne, port, lobster, crab and other foods that contain the highest levels of purines, such as Foie gras.

You'd never guess it would you?
He was right. I just wanted to feel wanted.

Anyway, you will be pleased to note the gout has cleared up but the man/swine flu remains. I am desperately hoping for a return next Monday as much as I am sure you're all desperate for me to return.

Fisticuffs in the tag games eh. Sounds like fun.

We've played Rochdale at various times this year and never had a problem, if anything they way they engage with their local community and get a broad range of people involved is a lesson to us all. Everyone of their players plays the game the right way, to imply anything else is just wrong.

Whatever happenned is done and dusted & it's time to move on, let's not spoil what was a good day of rugby with petty digs.

Thx for the game and I look forward to playing you guys again
