We need a team that will give 100 percent whether it is the best team on paper or not. Also as we have brought in so many new players not used to playing together they need to be playing in positions they normally play. So I would go with

I have deliberately put all our home grown players in hoping they have loyalty to the club and will give 100 percent. Have not seen anything from Sio to suggest he is any better than what we already have. Moore and Tupou will obviously get places but we will have to see if they deserve them.

You ever know Ian Kirke may come into contention with a short cameo performance.

No tim smith this week out injured so looks like craig hall with miller.

Godinet would be in when fit for me.

I'm not keen on the wrapping Smith in cotton wool. If he isn't fit then Godinet will come in for him to partner Miller.
If Godinet not fit then grudgingly I have to go with Hall.

I certainly wouldn't be risking Godinet in a meaningless game like this one. One or two other would get a rest as well like Scruton and Washbrook who have done big minutes this season. We have players to cover and we need the key personnel 100% in a fortnights time.

Although I kind of agree with resting those that need rests, they will get another week rest over the challenge cup semi weekend and 2 weeks is a long time for a team that has not been showing good fitness and with so many new players.
I'd also say the squad and certainly the fans need a boost.
I don't expect a win but a decent performance to the end of the game will be good prep for the Middle 8s

Bookies giving us 28 points on the handicap, which is as bad as it generally gets and with Shudds pushing hard for a top 4 spot, it will be a tough day at the office.

We need game time for our new recruits and rest any key personnel for the middle 8's (including any players that are carrying knocks)
