tough decision on right wing between Robinson and Carney who, although not as talented, really put in some great performances in a GB.Same at FB where Radlinski and Wellens in particular performed well on the international stage. It is probably an indication of our lack of quality in the halves department that i have had to go for Sculthorpe out of normal position and Long who, although a great Half in SL, only had the one game of note in the victory down under in 2006.Gleeson and Connolly could easily go in the centre too.
I'm sure i have made a glaring omission and will be set straight!

Struggled with props beyond Graham, Peacock & Fielden so had to use Morley as a prop on the bench instead of back row (where I think he was at his best for GB). Wellens (possibly club bias) just pipped Radlinski imo, but I think both of them were better in games vs Australia/NZ than Tomkins has proven to be so far so both would have beaten him for me.

Or it could be the rather depressing fact that we've produced a very small amount of truly world class players over the super league era, I'd imagine most peoples picks will be pretty much the same players with club bias accounting for the odd difference. |

Frustrating how for years we had quality centres in the likes of Senior and Gleeson but not the wingers really. We noe have several good wing options but the centres aren't as good anymore.
