We're Warrington ever after him? Teams like them and Leeds (and to an extent Wigan) have very good back rows as it is so Ellis would have been a luxury. I put on the Leeds board when he announced he was coming back that I hoped we didnt sign him and that I hoped Cas would but fair do's to Hull. A good signing and definitely strengthens the pack for them. Adds to the comp too. Hull with another signing or so should be looking to push for the top 5 next year IMO.

Hull are already 'pushing for the top 5' as it is here in 2012. |

Best of a bad bunch for me. By best, I mean 'biggest pay packet'. And fair enough.
Can't see anyone out of Wigan, Warrington, Leeds or Saints putting in a big bid, though I'd be surprised if they hadn't shown any interest.
For example, would have loved him at Wigan but he was probably asking a hefty sum and our pack situation doesn't need him. |
