Ankle ligament damage.

Any word on the magnitude? i.e 'serious' or 'slight'?

Like I said in another post, lets hope it's weeks rather than several months.

According the Mick Gledhill on Twitter Luke Gale is looking at 6-8 weeks out. Obviously this isn't confirmed by the club.

Because I would doubt very much that the injury to Gale has been properly assessed at this moment. He might well be proved to be correct, but it will still likely be a guess at this moment.

Mick has the 100% correct information. Luke has done ankle ligaments and expects to be out 6 weeks.

Gale has tweeted he is off for a scan tomorrow.. perhaps somebody ought to tweet him not to bother.. the diagnosis is in.

Prognosis and diagnosis. Two different words. Everything at this stage is a prognosis, and Mick has the correct prognosis.

Im no doctor but i thought that in order to make reasoned prognosis an acurate diagnosis would have to be made first
