No charge for Sia for the high tackle against Warrington:

'Player attempts to make a legitimate tackle. Tackle is high however attacker is dipping. Initial contact is with the chest. Penalty sufficient.'

Seems a fair decision to me, let’s move on.

I am not sure we need to move back to the days of 8 game bans for mistimed high tackles, but Soliola should have seen red. Let alone be exonerated after the game!

Yes. It was outright dirty. He twisted the Hull player's leg while said player was on the floor following a tackle. Totally unnecessary and he deserves whatever he gets. Elima just can't go a season without at least one ban.

As for Soliola, I thought his 'attempted tackle' was nothing short of a red card. So much for the RFL's pre-season spouting about treating head high tackles more harshly this year.
