That was a tough game tonight. Not because of the lineup I wouldn't have said, the likes of Charnock and Ashe handled it really well. The conditions were probably the worst I've ever seen for a Super League game. Despite this the players showed real desire the get the job done and some of the hits were superb, especially Gardner's, Meli's and Sia's.

I thought the start of the second half was a superb stint from the lads. They were under immense pressure, similar I guess to last week, as we were pinned on our own goal line for a good 15 minute spell. For once they showed a level of togetherness and desperation to keep the opposition out.

Was the crowd so low because Paul Wellens was back at fullback? I think so, I mean, everyone loves snow so it can't have been that.

Scrum half, playing at fullback. Came through their academy I think. Get him snapped up I say!

Sneyd has looked quality whenever I've seen him play. He's a half an is only about 20 I think.

His kicking game was very good, always found the ground and had good length. Our kicking game was poor tonight in my opinion, picked the fullback out every time.

He was interviewed on sky the other week - definately a yarkshire lad I thought - but he is from Oldham.

He's off contract at the end of the season. Swap for Lance?

Good win for is thought we was lucky tonight Salford play the last 35 mins with only 1 sub they lost Gleeson and the French half back at half then lost Williams in the first 5 mins of second

I was impressed by Sneyd, but he's the one that engineered their comeback against Hull KR. I think he's going to be quite a find for them.

It was a costly night for them wasn't it, and just before the Easter weekend (and they already had three of their first team out injured).
