It struck me the other night when the pies beat Cas 36 22 that all Cas's points had been scored by British players but only 12 of Wigan's points had. So it got me thinking what the table would look like if we only counted points scored by players eligible for GB. Maybe there could be an alternative table and alternative league winners based in this theory.
Is anybody sad/bored enough to work out what effect this would have on current standings?
I realise it's a very simplistic way to measure the effect of overseas players because great players can be very influential in a game but not score any points, but there won't be any prizes awarded so what the hell.

| With Robert and Richards at the top of the try scoring chats with 10 each I doubt Wigan would be anywhere near the top of the league. If I get time tomorrow I think I might have a crack at working the table out. Not that i'm sad of course  |
