Huddersfield had an uplifting win vs castleford but both teams are still in the dog fight. Furners interview after the CC sounds like none of the injured folk will return this week. I’d personally give Watkins a rest for the first Easter game and give Newman a go at that side, Lolohea will be staying fullback. Expect Briscoe, Hurrell, Handley, Cuthbertson, Oledzki and Dwyer to return. I doubt Merrin will be back for the Easter period as the funeral is Tuesday 16th, even though the club said he’s booked on a flight on Monday.

Leaning towards Trout on the bench. If we go Newman and want to rotate a back rower, it will probably mean moving Hurrell infield and whilst he would "do a job", we need his strike out wide. Especially if we can make the most of Tui linking in and using his passing game to get Hurrell early ball.

The other option to get Newman in is moving Tui to 6 and Sutcliffe to backrow with Handley/Watkins/Briscoe to FB. Too much disruption for me. Particularly given Tui's showings at 6...

Interesting few weeks coming up for Newman, injuries aside is he going to dislodge Hurrell/Watkins? Maybe get a chance on Monday if they don't want Watkins playing a second game in 4 days.

not really, we are going ok now and have london at home on monday so would think we have a great chance of picking up at least one win over easter!
