Funny that.

Was impressed with Mago. Lad made a fair few more tackles that he usually does and also took it up a few times. Didn’t look to be blowing out his backside afterwards. Be interesting to see us next week. Might be going into that first game against Cas a little undercooked maybe? To be fair plenty of time to fix things. Chan shooting out the line was a concern hopefully can knock it out of his game think king was murder for that at the start of last season sure it’s just him getting use to trusting in the team

I thought Chan looked a bit uncomfortable at second row, which isn’t hugely surprising with him usually playing prop and loose forward. I still thought there were positive signs from him and you can see what he’d bring around the middle but with some time and match practice (likely to be in the reserves or out on loan) he’ll hopefully be able to give us that extra second row option.

You ever thought about growing up a bit Sgt Pepper?

I’d of thought you’d be delighted the floodlights failed as your nearly full strength team was being taken to the cleaners by a tin pot championship team.

Nicky kiss, at least we own our ground we don’t rent it whilst playing second fiddle to a third rate football team, just a thought.

But yet you're officially our feeder team and we took Eseh too.

Enjoy the championship, whilst we're 4 weeks off watching the most successful team in the history of the sport go for more glory.

Levels to this game pal and you've found yours.

All a bit of banter. I’ve said on here before I think it’s great to see Wakey moving in the right direction.

As for ourselves, the stadium and being second fiddle, I’m not sure you’re right on that score anymore and I think we’ll be ok.

The fact you even had to type this out to a Wakefield fan shows how utterly insecure you are lmao

We only had 11 first teamers out so yes a nearly full strength team out.
And as pointed we own the stadium and the third rate wendyball team aswell.

I think our idea's of a full strength Wigan differ pal. Now full strength forward pack? Yes that is fair but also bare in mind a fair chunk of it are new signings and others playing their first game back from injury lay offs.

Also, us being 2nd fiddle in the stadium is definitely a thing of the past now both clubs are owned by the same bloke.

Good luck for the season, i was actually very impressed with Wakey and that team is stronger than a few of the teams that will turn out in SL next year. With a few of our youngsters fed in as and when i don't see much danger for you down there.

And the floodlights thing was quite embarrassing if we are honest pal, not really the best first showcase of your new stand. And i can't confirm as i was on the west terrace, but i have seen mention from Wigan fans who were in the east stand that they ran out of Water during half time! It is ok to have teething problems on something new, as long as them issues get rectified before it's next use. I hope for Wakey's sake that it is, as currently it is a major accident on the pitch waiting to happen and shouldn't be allowed to be played in until they can prove it is functionally sound.
