Im hearing Widdop likes to shop at Morrisons, grows potatoes and peas in his back garden, likes to listen to Abba and is out for 6-8 weeks injured.

That's a blow, especially when the duck said he wasn't in a wheelchair so would be fine.

Whilst Sitas charge at Tyrone wasnt a foul in the laws as they stand, it didn't half make me wince.
Sita turned his body so the shoulder led - protecting the ball - but if that had been by the Leigh defence on Sita it would have been a red I guess.
Tyrone got his timing/technique wrong (I guess) but when theres that sort of collision whilst initially there may be a 'wow'' or ouch from the speccies, it makes me think Im glad Im not playjng the sport.
Long term effects of collisions on the head/neck are very much in the spotlight in all sports. I can easily imagine there could be some tweaks to rules to limit this type of collision.
League is a very tough sport - even without those collisions.

The injury to Widdop is obviously a disappointing one, but the chance for Thewlis to play full back for a few weeks is a great opportunity for him.

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

It’s the way he stops after the collision and looks at them with concern, it looks very guilty! Personally I don’t think he warrants a place in the squad but he seems to have persuaded Price which is what counts I suppose.

you know what, had we not had the other prop issues this last 3 n bit years, if we had a proper rotation for hill and cooper, i wouldn't have a problem with him coming on, wrecking stuff for ten minutes then going off, in a proper bench set up, you can maximize his usage to fit games and shift momentum.

Obviously it's still disgraceful that he's bent over like 46 year old me gasping for breath after 5 minutes, which he wouldn't have got away with if moz was still here, he was anti our players doing that.

If only there was a top class English halfback on the market as a free agent. Come on Warrington get a deal done to accommodate Williams for this season!
