They do test us at times but we've also had some big wins over there. Swinton 10v34 Fax.

Another good win, solid start, no panic letting Swinton run out of steam and ideas and then building pressure that was converted into points. In the early games we really lacked s leader - never thought Scott Grix would be the answer but playing at half back he seems able to be a controlling influence on both attack and defence. I'll admit that I wasn't keen on him coming back into the team but in my view he's now probably the most important part of it. No poor performances today - whilst sorry to see Salty dropped Mcgrath did well today and should hold his place next week.

Good win against a team really needing a result.
Positives.
Solid goal line defence.
Pack on top with all of them putting in a good shift.
I notice Matt Garside has picked up his game in the last couple and was probably the most at risk from Sam Hewitt so good response from MG.
Scott Grix stand out in the halves again.
Brandon and Amir are building a good understanding.

Negatives.
Still some periods of sloppiness and poor set completion that would likely be punished against the better sides.

Well i would of been happy to take that score before kick off so i am happy with most of that performance. The only concern i have and it is a good problem to have is we seem to be wasting chances to score even more points this as happened in the last few games but it as only cost us against fev who are one of the best sides in this division when we play the best sides we will need to be more ruthless in attack to match our very good defence if we can do that then we will take some beating. On to next week against batley we will need to do that with any chances that come our way because as we saw earlier in the season they are more then capable of beating us and are playing well themselves.The battle for third spot is hotting up nicely

Just an aside to the Game any reason why some of our supporters were waving a Cuban Flag with Che Guevara on it ?

Not a clue but if my memory serves me correctly didn't those flags or similar get banned from the Shay at one point?

I tried to take the Russian flag in with me but got stopped double standards if you ask me.
