If he had played any other sport he’d have been knighted after his MND fundraising efforts.

Not only the RFL's favourite club but now the Royal family's favourite as well.

I would imagine you could make a convincing argument for a lot of recipients over the years not being worthy of such awards. Ironic that some RL media and supporters are up in arms about NW getting recognition when we spend so much time moaning about lack of national exposure for the sport.
