Is it just me or is the most ludicrous fixture of all time ? In a time of COVID we are breaking every teams bubble so if a couple players get COVID then there will be no fixtures next week.

The clubs don’t want to release players for the non representative so called all stars when all the super league teams have games that day or day before

Presumably the crisis meeting right now is due to Wigan and possibly Huddersfield saying if they have players involved they will invoke the cancellation due to 4 or more players being involved in an international rule.

I think if any club had a valid reason to postpone it would be Warrington.

Well they have 4 already so they can but Leeds 3 , Catalan Wigan and Wakefield 2 cas 1 add in the likely all stars most teams that have a fixture this weekend would have at least three possibly 4 unless the clubs are reaching a deal

The England fixture may indeed be pointless bunkum, but it was scheduled and announced long before the SL fixtures were drawn up.

SL have CHOSEN to schedule a round on the same weekend - it is SL and their member clubs who are fault.
