It's looking a lot like it will be Andrew Henderson being that he will be unemployed at end if this season. Join Leigh now as Head Coach or remain at Wire as No2 & unwanted for 2022 !

Appears Duffy wasn't pushed but agreed that he could not get the team going and was happy to stand down. I'd guess nobody has much of a chance of turning it round.

Mr. Beaumont has racked up a large investment in Leigh over recent years and just can't see to realise his dream.......

If only their last tenure in SL had been such that 11th. place meant staying up from which Beaumont could have strongly built....

There are not the players available at the moment to make Leigh competitive for the rest season with even half decent players signed up by other clubs

In retrospect then, if Beaumont wants Leigh to be established in Superleague then he should not have made the application to have his Championship side put straight into Superleague at a time all the decent players were all signed up, just for his side to go straight back down.

Having said that several other clubs were fully prepared to take that 12th. spot. If the best of those had been promoted and NOT Leigh it could have left Beaumont with a greater chance of his Leigh side winning promotion leading to a better chance to recruit and stay up with a better team 2022? So I don't get it

It will give Henderson continuity of employment and the chance to massively improve his CV if they could get 11th. and if the contract was long enough a chance to recruit early for next season for an assault on promotion with a winning side...........

I also don't discount Toulouse not being accepted into SL, and I don't discount SL going to 10 as part of the 2x10 superleague that has constantly been suggested by Superleague (not by me) for 2022, but in one way if Leigh were brought into SL to stay in SL why change coach? Well I suppose falling crowds may be a strong driver......
