Warrington Wolves 21-man squad: Sitaleki Akauola, Blake Austin, Rob Butler, Josh Charnley, Daryl Clark, Jason Clark, Mike Cooper, Ben Currie, Matt Davis, Chris Hill, Jack Hughes, Toby King, Tom Lineham, Jake Mamo, Robbie Mulhern, Joe Philbin, Stefan Ratchford, Nathan Roebuck, Josh Thewlis, Danny Walker, Gareth Widdop.
Yes I think Price will play Lineham and Akaoula simply because he will wan't them in the cc semi team next week, so will treat this game as a bit of a dry run.
Looking further out though we can probably guess that neither Akaoula or Austin will be retained next year. So I would prefer to see game time limited for both players with Ratchford moving to the halves. That would leave some space for Thewlis, Butler and possibly Doro to get more game time. The regular rounds are really not that important, we don't need to win them all, only finish in the top 5 playoff. And Leeds have demonstrated better than anyone that you can win SL even if you don't finish top 3.

I understand your thought and would have been with you on this, however this season will be the first time I don’t give a shat what happens in 2022. I selfishly want shat or bust. Play the best players, get the results, win the cups and have zero sentiment for who gets dropped or left out in the midst of doing so. It won’t be the first time there has been player, played consistently to find himself out of the final.

I think (know ?) Price will play his best team in the cc semi, but in the regular season we don't need to win every match and playing the kids here and there not only brings them on with a view to next year, but also means that if we have injuries this year they can easily step up.
