As Liam Watts said, when he was at Hull the goal was to win a trophy. When he was at Rovers the goal was to beat Hull.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

If you mean there's no relegation this year, nothing I'm aware of has been announced yet.

I think he means that Rovers won't be involved in a relegation battle, rather than there will be no relegation this year. I understand they're planning an open top bus tour to celebrate.

I cannot see either of our sides being in contention for the top four places in the league. After recent seasons I’m sure we’d be happy for a 6th - 9th spot. To win anything a team has to beat the top sides. FC are in 5th have played the four teams above them and not won a match.

Of course Hull FC are in contention for the top four - although I'm not sure why you made that the benchmark rather than the more relevant top six.

The top three is probably cut and dried unless one of Saints, Wigan or Catalans collapses for some reason. Warrington are as unpredicatable as we are. Worth pointing out that they've not played Wigan or Saints yet and they've been beaten by Cas and Huddersfield.

Great to see isn't it? Sounds like Toulouse have strong infrastructure and development pathways too. Maybe in the future they will run an elite academy

"Among those advantages is a pathway setup that boasts 19 teams including women’s and wheelchair teams, as well as a schools programme involving 2,000 children within the city.
Toulouse have 400 registered players across their teams, from under five to their reserve grade side that compete in the French Elite 1 competition."

Excited about what Toulouse are doing. Sounds like they’d be a great addition to the Super League. Always thought they should have got the 12th spot for this season.

Without Covid, they’d have been a better venue for this Saturday’s semi final too. :D
