I regret not being at Odsal for that game (I think it was Easter Sunday and my mum and dad had invited family around for lunch ). However the game at Pie Park remains perhaps the most brutal match I've ever seen, and still one of my top five Leeds games (excl GFs). Brad Godden scoring that try to win it. Absolutely unbelievable. I was walking on air for the rest of the week.
It was Easter Sunday, and I think we had every season rolled into one that day. I remember it was snowing like mad at HT and I only had a shirt on for some strange reason.
Apart from the 94' CC Semi Final, the Wigan game was my favourite, never have I seen before or since, a Wigan pack take so much hammer, it really was RL at its best. Can't believe only 12,000 turned up to watch it.
