When I saw the side, I wasn't expecting Hardaker and Bibby to be the ones ballsing up kicks!

It’s been tough to do anything other than just hang in (which they’ve done well). We’re shy of most of our attacking threats and Salford have way more depth on the bench. It’ll be a pretty good workout this.

Positives I would say are a couple of the fringe props showing up pretty well. I thought Clark has looked strong and Byrne and Kilner have done well. Hanley has done well on the wing also. We’d clearly be in trouble starting superleague games with this back line but hopefully it won’t come to that.

Good to see Byrne back.
We need Gildart Hastings Manfredi and Field for the Leigh game or we could struggle
I’m not a fan of friendles but just see them as a necessary part of preseason
