With us playing at the Tetley's stadium it gives us the ideal opportunity to engage with new fans.Obviously not in Dewsbury as that wouldn't go down well but the ground is practically in Wakefield.
The club should extend their schools programme to include handing out free tickets (when crowds are allowed back in) in schools in the Gawthorpe, Ossett and Horbury areas. Even venturing as far as Lupset and Alverthorpe.
I appreciate that this is encroaching into a Super league club's area but they are one of the less fashionable, smaller clubs, no one wants to go to belle vue and the superleague chairmen made it clear it's dog eat dog.
Send a couple of the players and bullman into schools for coaching sessions with gifts and free tickets handed out to kids lift confetti. The parents have to pay to take them and we convert them into fans of the club.
