Eastmond will actually be a young 31 too as he's missed so much through injury.....
Big gamble by us but we were desperate abs without a fit half for the season. Walker out fir season too, we had to do something.
Personally I think we'll see flashes of brilliance, but we'll be lucky to get 10 games out of him.
Signing generated plenty of interest though....

In terms of financial risk, its probably less of a risk than when we were reportedly interested a few years back, he was supposed to be on around ÂŁ400k per year at Wasps, so even with a 50%, then 75% exemption in his cap value, and with a lower salary in RL he still would have taken up a big chunk of cap with no guarantee of success.

I would think his salary demands would be lower now, presumably the interest wasn't as strong from RU this time around.

Adds a bit of intrigue to the season, be interesting to see how he goes.

I guess you mean me , i actually only ever criticised one signing you made so please do not make things up . To answer your question i am disapointed in the signing of Eastmond as i feel he has lost his pace which was a major thing in his locker , plus also he is injury prone , i guess with the injury situation we are in the club see it as a relatively cheap gamble on the salary cap .
Sorry for coming back on here as i said i would wait until you won a Grand Final before i did so , but i just wanted to put the record straight .
Good Luck and maybe it will be your year ! , although i feel Wigan and Saints are a fair way ahead of you and that bit more ahead of the rest .
