I was part of last night's meeting and expected to be able to offer to waive this season's ticket and would have then still been happy to purchase a ST for next season.

There has clearly been a lot of thought about the best way to procede in this unfortunate and challenging situation.

I think the proposal discussed yesterday is The Dons / Club Doncaster trying to be as fair as possible, encouraging those who purchased for this season to return next but pointing out that inevitably there is a funding shortfall and asking that if we have any chance of being competitive next season that the supporters get behind the Club and support them financially in as many ways as possible.

It works for me and I hope that it does for as many as possible (noting that people's circumstances may not be the same now as they were pre-Covid).

Let's hope for health and maybe some success in the coming months.

COYD.

I was part of Wednesday's meeting with Wanderer. I echo everything he has said.

The decision to carry season tickets over to next year is a good gesture. I hope as many people as possible will help out by donating to the crowdfunding project.

Those of us who are able to offer the club additional support can do. Those who have sadly been hit hardest and aren't in a good place will be able to look forward to watching the club next season at no extra cost.

I've missed watching the Dons more than anything else during this crisis. I'm extremely relieved to know that we have got a future as it would be a massive loss to me personally had the Dons not been able to get through this.

Wishing everyone good health and good luck for the coming months - Mike Lindley.
