RESULTS

Despite an unprecedented two wins on the same night in these unprecedented times, the new coach thread is still alive and kicking. Then again apart from Wrath's Dad nothing can come close to a "partially splashed Bridget Bardot" and certainly not Price (I'm sure that the reference was sea water from the Cote d'Azur)

"That's the way to do it" perhaps it was Absolute Madness to think that this season's grand finale would end up any other way? Apart from Walter Wizard and rubber duckie that is who were possibly clinging to the hope that prediction points could be gained by bucking the trend.

Wanderer continues to impress pipping Wire Weaver 12 to 10 to consolidate their position at the top. For the rest of us it might be a case of the last chance saloon next week or better luck next year

Well what can you say that's not been said already on these boards? A game of great defence and high drama and on balance a fitting finale to the season. I'm sure that 'uncle' Elton will be pleased

Most of us went for a Wigan win and not surprisingly no one thought that we would have to wait until the 66th minute for the first try. Two exceptions were karetaker and this week's winner Old Man John who claimed top spot courtesy of James Roby being picked for the Harry Sunderland
