i have never had a go at Blaymire or Henderson but i do say it as i see it and for me Sculthorpe looked like he was going to be a top player when he was at Wigan but i do not think he wanted it enough and i dont think he as ever wanted it enough at Wakefield good hands hes got all the skill but he always looks off the pace of the moden day game

Whilst not doubting the mole rat's sources, I find it hard to believe that such a diagnosis (and its severity) can be confirmed without a scan.

Let's not be too despondent just yet :(

Ditto, added to that this particular injury in it's season ending form doesn't usually see players walking off the pitch un aided as Stosic clearly did. Double ditto Obst, again torn hamstrings do not see players walking off un aided which amazingly Sam did.

I think some or adding 4+4 and making 9.

I have no doubt they are injured but if the previous OTT predictions peddled on here are anything to go by I'll wait and see.

Saw most of the team at Sainsbury's on Sat morning. Stocsic has his knee very heavily strapped - didn't look like he could bend it even if he wanted to! But was walking on it.

Spoke to Sam and asked him how the leg was. He said that he didn't think he would be playing at KR. Said he is ok walking, but every time he runs the hamstring twinges. He wished that the hamstring was torn, so at least he knew what was wrong, but they think it might be a nerve problem ans are going to investigate this.

Don't know what the rest of the team had been up to - there was a broken window on the mini bus door and they were struggling to get the door shut, presume some glass was in the runner - Didn't see Danny B though!

4 or 5 weeks ago I ruptured my anterior cruciate ligament and tore my medial meniscus ((cartilage) confirmed by the way of a scan) playing for Normanton. I stayed on the pitch and tried to run it off! Needless to say I obviously couldn't but I hobbled off unaided and it didn't feel too bad up until about mid night. Awaiting a date for an operation now. I agree most of the time players are stretchered off with this type of injury but I suppose a lot depends on how your body deals with it.
