Heard a whisper that Inman may have picked up an injury but not sure how true that is. If not then if AOB is still some weeks away then I get this and don't know why we didn't try sooner. I think Inman has struggled at times with some of his distribution and decision making, which isn't helped when being asked to do long minutes.

Watched the game on you tube last night , we played pretty well for the most part certainly offensively , defensively poor though, need to start winning some games and get some confidence back .

JWH caused them a lot of problems down there left edge but we just couldn't put enough of those chances away to win. Does playing him there solve our problems in defence out wide no but he looks a handful with the ball.

He may well turn out to be a good signing but with O'brien just a couple of weeks off from returning that is what Finn said last week and we do not need anyone new in the halfs i don't get it. We are crying out for new centres and props and with money being tight why spend it in a position we do not need.

Rumor seems to be an injury to Inman from the Fev game. He was holding his jaw after the Gale challenge although he was able to carry on.

Trust me to jump in before this post if true then it does make sense.

It was hard to tell live where Gale had made contact . We had made a half break Tom was backing up and had just lost the ball then Gale made contact. He did stay down a while and i was surprised he wasn't taken off for a hia.

Just watched the game, and as others have remarked, silly errors cost Fax. I don’t think the ref helped but when you keep giving away stupid and needless penalties whistle blowers get into he habit of looking for faults. Another issue I thought was Fax panicked and wanted to score on every play, failing at the last play of the set, rather than gaining ground even if they don’ score making the oppo go 100 yards. There is enough experience out there, even if LJ is now full back Widdop should be able to Marshall the team unless he has been given orders to keep stum. Others need to play for the shirt not the pay packet,
Anyway roll on York and hopefully things gel the ball sticks and people don’t give needless yards.
Up the Fax

Last one out turn off the lights. Eden would have been a quality signing playing outside a decent centre, instead he has had to spend his time outside Tibbs or McComb, its really no surprise he wants out.

AM I RIGHT? I'M NOT WRONG!

Re: Fev away : Fri May 10, 2024 9:50 am
Yep, as the saying goes "a winger is only as good as his centre" but I suppose that didn't stop Walmsley scoring a few tries!

I wouldn't be bothered if Eden leaves. His body language hasn't been right as though he's saying "what the hell am I doing here?" Use the Eden money to get a decent centre and Ritson.
