But have finally scored a second. 2 successes out of about 10 certain tries. Need to get that sorted out.

And again not able to ground over the line.
But have eventually scored a third.
At least we are attacking - unlike last season.

Sounds like a good game for the spectators and Bradford deserved to win but if we had made less errors when going for the line then it would have been much closer.
Worth noting that for all our upturn in performance, other than Newcastle, who are fast becoming detached from the rest, it remains close at the bottom with Widnes putting in a disappointing stint against Whitehaven and a narrow win for Barrow against JMC led Keighley. We have all started looking up the table but we aren’t away and clear yet.

That’s very true unfortunately- especially when we’re odds on to get a right pasting at Fev next time out.

Fev and then Batley next so a fair chance we will stay where we are. Luckily for us, those just below us don't have any winners games in the next fortnight either, but as others have said, with fewer games left to play than have already gone, we're only 4 points from L1.
I'm sure we will be OK, but there really does need to be a total rethink of what it is the club hope to achieve, because clearly Plough Lane isn't working and 5,000 will be the TOTAL SEASONS ATTENDANCE before it us the seasons average if we continue down this path.

It's a knockabout backfield club- there is no strategy its just a very short term reactive approach in many if not most decisions.

Re: Bradford Away : Mon Jun 12, 2023 6:23 pm
Bradford were too good for us. Our completion rate wasn't good enough, our kicking game needs vast improvement (will Corey Norman solve that?) and we fell off too many tackles. The 10 points at the end added respectability but by then the Bulls had wrapped the game up and were down to 12 men.

On the plus side, Bassett did well at FB, Whare and Macani are looking good as a pairing.
Butler's injury looked concerning though.

I thought we were poor, as we're Bradford giving us the ball in some key areas but we failed to make the most of it, poor 5th tackle options. Disappointing given previous performances. Saying that it's always a experience watching at Odsal although it's in poor condition. Friendly bunch are the Bulls supporters.

This has been a problem all season.
