There are a few great academy products in there, as there are at Warrington, Saints and (despite recent performances) Wigan. Bossing Super League for a decade is going to require the whole package though, which means signing some decent core players and Agar moving upstairs and selecting the right coach to bring it all together. Don't run before you can walk.

I agree you might catch us cold tomorrow though. It's a test of Warrington's ability to maintain consistency, and the attack does look a little clunky without Widdop. Defence might be the key.

Agar will move upstairs eventually but he may have got some more trophies under his belt by then. Certainly the fact that Wire and Hull fans think he's rubbish is quite amusing given how highly he is rated by people inside the game, and at Leeds.

You seem to be the Leeds version of the plastic duck. By saying Leeds' inevitable domination of Super League for a decade starts tomorrow, are you suggesting Leeds will win Super League this season?

You use the word inevitable, not me.
But future Saints GF defeats are irrelevant to the Wire forum, other than reminding them they better get it done in the next year or so.

Agar has a fantastic reputation at individual coaching.
Some (not all) Wire fans and Hull fans think he’s not a great head coach because his record at those clubs isn’t very good. If he wins more trophies for you this season (and 2022 if he hasn’t moved upstairs) then that’s great. If Leeds don’t happen to achieve the standards you seem to be setting for the team and Agar, you can bet your bottom dollar some Leeds fans will be on his back also. But he’ll be heading into what is probably a good role for him soon, so he just needs to select the right head coach for your budding team of world-beaters. Who is your personal choice? Steve Price has a very good record - 3
Finals and one trophy. A good fit?

Wire never lost a game RA was in control for.

What about when Smith moved upstairs for the 2017 season? He let Agar take the reigns for the day to day coaching. Of course, I’m not laying the blame purely at Agar’s feet for that season, Smith had to take responsibility for the lack of recruitment and lack of motivation within the camp. I think it was just a case of things going stake and needing a refresh.

Whilst I agree with you that Leeds have potential, these predictions of "this team is set to dominate for a decade" are often fraught with danger.

Bradford Bulls were going to dominate for a decade under Noble. Saints were going to dominate under Millward.
Not so long ago Klopp's Liverpool were going to dominate the Premier League, Belgium and France were going to dominate international football.

We'll see over time whether this crop of highly touted young Leeds talent has more in common with Leeds Rhinos of the early 2000s or the Leeds United of the early 2000s.
