Dislike Leigh with a passion, but they are a million miles ahead of any other club in this league, a sad fact.

It was and I was surprised they had so many there.

That try just on HT by Cudjoe had me jumping up and down like when a Leyther player scores. Was brilliant and worth the admission alone.

I had a decent enough view and I honestly cannot see why they are being forced out to go to a town with absolutely no infrastructure although they do have a railway station because of their geographical location. :)

That try on HT was by Lawrence. Him and cudjoe were switching between centre and winger throughout the game. Brilliant try it was too!! Had me jumping up and I was supporting saints

Think he's just saying that Saints are playing at Widnes next season.

Whilst not having visited Knowsley Road in recent years, It was never a successful ground for Leigh to visit however, my abiding memory is of standing at the turnstile(freezing cold) only to be told the game was postponed due to a frozen pitch! Must have severe frost in Saints that all the fans had travelled to the match, before they called the game off! The Match did not involve Saints it was Leigh v Cas in the 1967 Floodlit Trophy Final ! the game was played a week later at Headingly and we lost of course!

If my memory serves well, I think the RL changed the rule's following the Final as Cas spent the last quarter of the game kicking the ball dead only for Leigh to 'drop out' again and Cas to repeat the move! Murph was less than impressed and he threw the Ball down in frustration!
