I wouldn't be hugely surprised if last year has had more of an adverse impact on this than anyone suspected. Last year Leeds showed that they could 'get it right' when it counted. This year it would appear as though half the team are of the mindset of 'nothing much matters, we'll be right in the end'. The Wigan game probably didn't help either - racking up a lot of points against probably the most mistake prone side I've seen in years does not equate to a good performance. Personally, I'd suggest that the chances of repeating a Lazarus-style turnaround at the end of the season are very slim.

As G1 says, the lack of structure and urgency and giving away needless penalties has nothing at all to do with lacking a prop or centre. Just look at the names on the Leeds teamsheet and compare to Bulls/Salford. Internationals all over the place. Still the core of the team that has won the Championship the last two years. And yet....playing sh*te.

Never mind signing new players, how about giving one or two of the underperformers a kick up the backside and dropping them?

BTW if the other players cannot handle the wages Buderus are on, I suggest they have far too much time on their hands.

It happens though.

Go ask Jamie P why he was so pîssed off with Bradford that he jumped ship to Leeds? Clue: it rhymes with Jest in Paris...

So,- I heared a little rumour today that one of the causes of strife in the camp is Buderus and the size of his wage packet. I've no doubt that on paper he's a class player, I am yet to see it for myself.

There's more, but it is not a knee-jerk reaction to ask why we're losing so poorly and why we look rubbish. We've not been great all season, but most fans have held fire until now.

On your first point I heard the same thing and posted it back in the original buderus thread. Senior group of respected players who thought he was just a here today gone tomorrow money grabbing pay cheque aussie. These players have not performed decently so it could still be a lingering factor.

I think it's easy for some to call whats being said a knee jerk but there has been a consistent core of fans posting issues prior to now. It don't take much to apply a bit of common sense and look at things honestly to see we operated poorly off season.

8 games or so into the season and already we've under achieved.

Would it save a whole load of time and effort if everyone just picked up from here?

Good thinking batman!

Someone thing is wrong BIG TIME. But they dont become a bad team suddenly.

Last week we were enthusiastic. We had Dummy runners everywhere. We had a good kick and chase. We were aggressive.

This we had NO DUMMY RUNNERS. We were NOT ENTHUSIASTIC. We DID NOT PUT A GOOD KICK IN followed by LACK LUSTURE CHASING. TACKLED LIKE FAIRYS.

I put it down to the attitude of the players. There cant be arsed and think they only have to turn up and win.
