Problem #1 is your half-back combination IMO. Neither look up to the job in hand at the moment.

Aye and don't we just know it. Unfortunately we have limited resources in this area. I'm praying we can bring someone in...

I aren't one for trawling through every thread to argue, debate and shout the odds with people. I generally leave it a few hours (and truth be told, a few beers) to come on and look for this post-match thread.

This game comes across to me as a kind of double edged sword. Our attack looked echelons better than the opening three games. Indeed, I believe had we shown this kind of attack against Hull KR and Huddersfield we may well have won, and not found ourselves in this predicament. Although this could well be clutching at straws! I'd still raise considerable questions about 6 & 7 though.

However, for the cost of us being able to attack, our defence seems to have imploded, particularly on the line. Our discipline as well has gone to pot.

We look awfully low on confidence, which I pray is the only difference between a win and a loss. Hull weren't as good as they were last Friday against Hudds, and it's only our inferior performance today which let us down I believe.

I wouldn't possibly be able to predict where our first win will come from, and all night I've had in the pub is "oh, its only four games in". But, how further can you possibly measure the season than where we are at the moment? Which is, a 0% win ratio and a 75% loss ratio.

I don't really know about Macca, you couldn't possibly attribute some of the horrific mistakes on the field today to him, but picking Platt on the bench, is quite bemusing to say the least.

One quick note on Newton, i'm aware he's carrying an injury but he looks terribly unfit. In and around the ruck when he was there, he got caught out very frequently.

Also, an honourable mention to Andy Lynch, who after a 6-month lay-off was absolutely terrific! (end on a positive I say). :)

Sheriffe was the big disappointment for me today and in promising moments in the second half he bombed key opportunities. Unforunately I think he knew it and after one too many his head went down and never got himself up for it mentally again.

At times like that you need to bring a player off for a rest. Is Dave Halley still available to recall from Wakefield? Cos I think he would help the situation, however he may not be able to raise the morale of the team and his excellent form so far this season at Wakefield may dissipate once he comes back here.

How can they do it now, unless someone puts their hand up and says we goofed with Sheriffe? Halley's face - for whatever reason - obviously didn't fit with someone and the message he got was, "go play for a lesser team, ( )where you'll get a game, until you're good enough to displace this great winger we just bought because you weren't up to it". I hear Halley doesn't want to come back, he's enjoying himself where he is.

Sheriffe finished very well for his try but he did make a galring balls up when he failed to pass to Tadulala with the line open in the second half.

He did stay glued to his wing too often as well. He needs to pop up in midfield more and support the ball carriers. Had he done that in the first half when Jeffries broke the line he'd have been in for another try. Instead he seemed to be on rails down the right wing!

He certainly finished well, his defence does look weak at times but I feel he's getting better with each game. He's only played four games in a poorly performing Bradford side, think everyone needs to give him a break and judge him at the end of the season.

For me Scruton is the one I worry about, he needs to learn when to take chances and when to play safe, I feel he is trying too hard at the minute. His knock on in the first minute really put us on the back foot and set the tone for the game. That said he needs to be given a chance so I will reserve judgement until he's had some more game time, same as with Sheriffe.
