Good luck Richard. Hope to see you pulling on a Wakefield shirt again some time in the near future.

I also hope that this is an end to the rotten luck you guys are having at the moment.

Getting older is mandatory; growing up is optional.

The process of having it diagnosed is extremely invasive so the bloke's probably already been through hell.

All the best to Richard and I'm sure he'll be back playing very soon. Hopefully they'll find a controlling treatment that works for him quickly.

Fierce rivalries aside, I really don't know what you guys at Wakey have done to deserve the things you've had to suffer over the last twelve months. Hopefully there are more positive times ahead.

All the best Richie, must have been a nightmare waiting for the diagnosis as all sorts will have been going through your head. At least now you have a diagnosis you can move forward and start to build up your strength through diet and medication. I am reliably told that Steve Redgrave has the disease and he won 5 golds.

you are quite correct along with several other famous people http://crohn-colitis.hu/eng/famous-people-with-ibd.php

I knew he was diabetic but did know he had chrons.

What a star he in managing both and being such a wonderful athlete. It shows it can be done.

That is terrible news. With Watene gone Moore was going to be our main Prop. His intensity gave our lads a boost. This is a huge blow. Get well soon Richie!!!
