Town Sign Jamie Thackray Workington town are pleased to announce the signing of ex Great Britain, Hull, Leeds and Castleford prop Jamie Thackray. Directors Tony Boyd and Malcolm Allison travelled down to Leeds yesterday to secure the signature of the highly rated prop forward. Jamie has extensive superleague experience and will bolster the clubs forward pack in the hunt for promotion in the forthcoming season. The signing further demonstrates the clubs determination to bring in top class players to improve the squad. Director Tony Boyd added "Jamie has just finished a stint with Limoux in France so is fit and raring to go. We are constantly on the lookout for new players to improve the squad going forward, but will only sign players who are right for the club". |
