Does anyone remember him? I went to a Warrington V Workington game once many years ago. Workington won 1-0 and "Boxer" scored the winning drop goal. Is he still alive and well and in the workington area?

It was a travesty that Boxer never won more GB caps than he got - definitely one of the best scrum halves of his era, and as tough as teak with it.

He's still alive and well and living in his native Whitehaven.

Thanks for the reply. If you ever see him remind the sod of that drop goal! I still haven't forgiven him 30 years later!
