Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

This is a message to introduce newcomers to the rugby league family to something that many of us older fans in the game's traditional areas have always enjoyed. It is connected to its history, culture, characters, humour and many tales told about it both on and off the field. It is something that many of us take into our old age. In my own case I saw my first game in St Helens in 1947 and been a fan ever since.
On Saturday June 1st there will be what some of you may find interesting enough to visit even though it is a long way. It is a Programme, Memorabilia and Collectors Fair which is to be held at the Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens. More details about this later.
