If Salford lose 20 points and end the season in a minus postion will they start on minus in the middle 8?
Probably not that would mean a championship side would have to be promoted and we can't have that won't be fair!!! On a serious note aren't we fortunate that none of the championship sides have broken the salary cap ........ or at least haven't been proven to have !!!!

No, of course they won't. The rules are that everyone starts on zero, as you full well know.

Which effectively means that cheating pays. Spend whatever you want and maintain the status quo. Makes you wonder what they spent it on though as they were absolutely woeful last season.

Yeah - I'm not sure that guaranteeing being in the Top Four of the Middle Eight would be the way I'd want to spend a Huge Wedge.

I could probably achieve that with a Medium - or even Small - Wedge.
