Correct. Hardly been a secret. His final year at Uni in Manchester next year so needs to be closer to home. I know he's found it a strain commuting over the Pennines 3/4 times a week with his academic commitments.

Academic commitments ? He's a student - it's just dozing in lectures for an hour a day and drinking the rest of the time, isn't it ?

In the final year of an Engineering degree, I somehow very much doubt it!
